SU Ag Center to host Hip Hop to Gen Z STEM Camp

Baton Rouge, La. – This summer the Southern University Ag Center will host a Hip Hop to Gen Z Camp, focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) for 6th – 12th grade students.

 

The camp will be held June 3-14, from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Hayden Hall on the Southern University campus.

 

The Hip Hop to Gen Z Camp will allow students to explore diverse facets of STEM and STEM career paths. Students can anticipate immersive learning experiences ranging from sound engineering and songwriting to filmmaking and disc jockeying facilitated by industry experts. They will also delve into various engaging activities and disciplines.

 

“Get ready for two weeks packed with high-energy, thrilling exploration into the realms of music, arts, and STEM,” expressed Dr. Raquel Ayles, SU Ag Center’s Youth Development Specialist and STEAM Program Leader.
